Simplified Connections and Reduced Implementation

Telstra Calling for Office 365 removes the complexity of managing a dedicated PSTN telephony network. Telstra provides a managed link bringing all your voice calls directly into Office 365. So all you need is adequate internet access and all your telephony and data can be delivered anywhere at any time. Additionally, there are no special infrastructure or voice calling access considerations when subscribing to Telstra Calling for Office 365. Avoid the long lead-times that often accompany waiting for conventional solutions to be set up and tested.

Use your Existing Numbers

Each user is allocated a phone number that is associated with their Office 365 client. This number brings the public telephony service directly from the Telstra phone network into Office 365. You can choose to migrate or port your existing phone numbers into Office 365 or you can allocate new ones. As your needs grow or users change roles you can easily reallocate numbers via the Office 365 administration portal.

As a Telstra Business and Enterprise Partner our job is to optimise your business with the best Telstra has to offer for hardware, plans and pricing. With our in-house Microsoft and Telstra certified staff, your Telstra Calling for Office 365 is delivered by a team of experts at Calibre One. 

Our Telephony Support Services team will remotely administer the access calling for your Office 365 client users. Calibre One will be responsible and provide for:

  • Call groups/queues
  • Basic auto attendant modifications
  • Group message-bank
  • Recorded Message updates (additional charges for recording may apply)
  • New number additions to Telstra Calling (excludes Ports, Migrations)
  • Creation of new and removal of user accounts
  • Manage relevant licencing
  • Extension assignment and Outbound calling ID
  • Adding users to groups, call queues, auto attendants
  • Remote assistance to install Microsoft Teams application on desktop PC
  • Basic remote troubleshooting for faulty hardware. Warranty management, not including freight.
  • Supported devices:
    • Poly, Yealink Phone handsets
    • Poly, Yealink video conference kit
    • Poly headsets
  • On-site support as per PAYG labour rate including call out fee.
  • Remote fault support with Telstra Calling for Office 365
  • Remote fault support with Microsoft Teams Phone System
  • Provision of quotes for new requests
  • Project management for significant changes
  • Onsite technical support as per PAYG labour rate including call out fee
  • Setup and Deployment of Microsoft Teams Phone System and Telstra Calling for 365

Severity Level 1: 2 hours
Severity Level 2: 8 hours
Severity Level 3: 16 hours

Base Instance – $276.10 per account / per month
Per User Cost – $5.50 per month

Support Details

To provide support, Calibre One will require

  • Listed as partner within Telstra Apps Marketplace
  • Administration account for Microsoft Teams Phone System

The Customer will be responsible for:

  • Obtaining the required Microsoft Office 365 Enterprise base licences
  • Deployment of Teams application to mobile devices
  • Local area network including switching, cabling routers, firewalls
  • Providing internet connection in place that will support at least 100Kbps per voice call and 1.5Mbps per Teams video call
  • 3rd party Integrations into Microsoft Teams Phone System and Telstra Calling for Office 365
  • Other Microsoft Office 365 applications

Calibre One can assist you with these responsibilities if required.

Other general Terms

TEAMS Phone System Only maintenance includes management of administration functions only, not end user Office 365 application support.

Telstra Calling for Office 365 can be added to the following compatible Microsoft Office 365 licences with no additional license requirements:

  • Microsoft 365 Enterprise E5

The following licences are also compatible, but you will need to purchase an Office 365 Phone System license separately:

  • Microsoft 365 Enterprise E3
  • Office 365 Enterprise E1, E3 or E5
  • Microsoft 365 Business Basic, Standard, or Premium

The Phone System license is a mandatory requirement as it provides calling capabilities that support Telstra Calling for Office 365.

You can purchase these Office 365 Enterprise licences from Telstra (as your Microsoft Cloud Service Provider (CSP)) via the Telstra Apps Marketplace Or utilise your existing licenses from your current supplier.
