Apple Announced their First 5G Devices: What This could Mean For Your Business

Telstra 5G iPhone

Apple recently announced the release of their first 5G iPhones, the iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max, iPhone 12, and iPhone 12 mini. This is an exciting opportunity for businesses big and small to take advantage of the power of 5G – Specifically Telstra customers (or soon to be Telstra customers!) with Australia’s best 5G.

Devices will be launched in a stages beginning on Friday for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max launching on Friday 13 November.

Note that these phones will no longer include the wall charger or Ear Pods to coincide with Apple’s commitment to reduce environmental impact. They will, however, include one USB-C to Lightning cable.

What does this mean for you?

You will now have access to the fastest and best networks in Australia.

5G will bring you faster speeds, lower latency and overall greater capacity. It will take digital activities to a whole new level to help power and reboot your business, both in the office and on the go. But in order to take advantage of these networks you will need to have 5G compatible devices.

What should you do with your old devices?

Calibre One have recently partnered with Moorup, a Telstra buy back partner that offer an end-to-end solution to buyback, refurbish, donate and recycle your mobile devices and tablets.

You can add an MRO (Mobile Repayment Option) Contract to one of their current mobile services and pay for it monthly over 12 or 24 months (please contact us for pricing document).

Important Stock Note

It is also important to note that it is customary practice that Apple usually limits the amount of stock it provides to its suppliers when a new model is first released. This means our Team can place an order for a device on the pre-order dates but it may take some time to receive the device.
